Karl would like to personally thank each and every person who came to the recent Joe Lynn Turner
shows to show their support. All 3 shows went very well, and the band had a fantastic time giving
all their energy to a very appreciative audience. Special thanks go to Eddie Trunk for
hosting the December 10th Double D's show, to Jim Breuer for showing his support at the Double D's
show, to the management and staff of The Crazy Donkey in
Long Island, the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ and Double D's in Morristown, NJ for allowing
the band to perform.
There is going to be one more Joe Lynn Turner show on Friday January 13th at
Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey. This will be the last show for the time being, so for those of
you who can't get enough of JLT, and to those of you who haven't seen any of the previous shows yet
this year, make sure to come down and show your support.
Wild Willy Parsons has released a Frank Marino Tribute Album,
entitled "Second Hand Smoke," on which Karl played guitar, bass and sang "Dragonfly" with Eric Singer. You can purchase
copies by clickin on the banner below.

Club phone numbers, contact information and ticket purchase info have been posted on the

More info about the Joe Lynn Turner shows. Bobby Rondinelli (former Rainbow, Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult
drummer) will be opening
for JLT on the Crazy Donkey (Long Island, NY) and Double D's (Morristown, NJ) shows. With
Greg Smith playing bass for JLT, that will make 3 former members of Rainbow on the same stage in
one night. In addition, T.C. Tolliver will be drumming for the Joe Lynn Turner shows as well. For
those who don't know, TC was in a band with Greg Smith called the Plasmatics and also did gigs with
TM Stevens.
Make sure to show your support by dropping by and seeing one hell of a good show!! Tickets are
available at the respective clubs where the band will be playing.
Far Cry - Far Cry will be appearing on Wednesday, Novembe 23rd, Thanksgiving Eve, to throw
Thanksgiving Day bash at Bello's in Parlin, NJ. There will be raffles for prizes, which include at least a 20 lb turkey. For
you extremely last minute shoppers, make sure to pick up a ticket....or 10. All proceeds will be going to a
good cause. God knows there's enough causes to contribute to this year. |
November 1, 2005
Karl is doing more shows with Joe Lynn Turner. See the Tour Page

What an intense 3 days for Van Helsing's Curse. Karl would like to thank all the
friends and fans who came out to support such an awesome production! Your support was greatly
appreciated. Karl would like to thank
Dee Snider, Joe Franco and Mark Wood for putting on such an awesome show, as well as the entire
Van Helsing's
Curse cast, crew and management, including (in no particular order) Denny Colt (thanks for the
flashlight),
Derek Taylor, Doug Katsaros (the wonderfully talented Evil Professor with credentials WAY too
long to list), everybody in the Vipers and
the Druids, Danny Stanton,
Phil Carson, Steve, Roger, and last but not least the hair/makeup crew: Suzette Snider
(special thanks to you for keeping
me on my feet or is that my ankle?), Shelly, Theodora and Karen
(we wouldn't have looked so evil without you).
Photos will be posted from the Long Island shows in the near future. The Philadephia show was
taped both video and audio for a DVD to be done in the future; we'll keep you posted when it happens.

(TWISTED SISTER), and Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA). They will play various

Far Cry Info: OK guys, it seems we have to set the record
straight about some misunderstandings. We've been getting a LOT of e-mails asking about why we
said Far Cry were playing their last gig, and then suddenly we have more gigs scheduled. On August 18th,
we stated that it was the last scheduled date, but that more dates may be scheduled for October and
November. The September 24th date was a date that we had canceled because Karl had the Nuclear Assault
shows that weekend; problems forced those 3 Nuclear Assault dates to be canceled, which means that the
September 24th date was able to be honored. So, the way it stands now, we will absolutely be doing
more dates in October and November. The last two weeks in October, Karl will be doing the Van
Helsing's Curse shows, which are set in stone. So, for all you Far Cry fans that absolutely
PACKED Bellos the other night (thank you very much for your support), and for the fans who need
their Far Cry Fix, keep checking here for the other dates that will be posted soon. |
September 25, 2005
More information about the Van Helsing's Curse show in New Jersey. For all the Jersey fans, make
sure to come out and show your support, as this is the only New Jersey appearance. Make sure to get

Lots of news today!! 3 of the Nuclear Assault dates, namely the September 23rd, 24th and 25th dates
in Portland, Seattle and Washington state respectively, have been canceled. They will make up the
shows at some later date; they apologize for any inconvenience.
With the 3 Nuclear Assault dates canceled, that brings some unexpected good news!! Far Cry will be playing
Bellos in Parlin, NJ on Saturday September 24th, which had been (temporarily) canceled because of the Nuclear
Assault dates. So for all the fans who were thinking they would have to go months without another Far Cry show,
make sure to come down and show your support. There will most likely be some shows in October as well,
due to scheduling changes.
Van Helsing's Curse dates have been posted as well. See the Tour
page for dates and locations.
Finally, Far Cry would like to thank all the fans who came out to Rhythms of the Night in Manville, NJ for the
Hurricane Katrina benefit show. It was a great night for a worthy cause. |
September 8, 2005
Far Cry will be playing a benefit for the victims of Hurricane Katrina
at Rhythms of the Night in Manville, New Jersey tonight; among those victims is Erik Ferro of TT Quick, who lives in
New Orleans and lost just about everything. Part of the
proceeds will go to him to help him start over again. There will be several bands playing at the benefit
show, so make sure to come by and show your support. |
September 3, 2005
There's a Journal entry for the weekend of August 26th thru 29th of
Karl's 3 Nuclear Assault shows, Far Cry gig, and Jim Breuer show appearance. Check it out. |
August 30, 2005
Karl made another appearance on the Jim Breuer show this afternoon with Greg Smith and
Chuck Burgi. Some Photos from Karl's August 19th appearance on the show have been posted.
|
August 20, 2005
Karl appeared on Sirius satellite radio on the Jim Breuer Show on Aug 19th from 4 to 6pm with
Joe Lynn Turner, Greg Smith (bass), Chuck Burgi (ex-Rainbow drummer) and Al Fritsch (keyboards).
They had an absolute blast, and they wound up playing several tunes over the 2 hour period. Jim
Breuer is a class act, and Karl would like to thank him for having the band on the show.
Due to Karl playing for Nuclear Assault on August 26th at L'Amour's in Brooklyn, NY, Karl has been
forced to cancel the Bellos gig for that night. He was trying to figure out a way to do both shows,
but it's just not able to happen. We apologize for any inconvenience. |
August 18, 2005
Karl is going to be on Sirius Satellite radio with Joe Lynn Turner, Greg Smith (bass) and
Al Fritsch (keyboards) on the Jim Breuer (of Saturday Night Live fame) show from 4pm til 6pm. They will be doing a
couple of live songs, so all you Sirius subscribers, make sure to catch the show. This is
an uncensored show (since it's satellite radio), so there's no holds barred. You can count on
a lot of goofing around and overall a fun show.
Karl is going on the road with Nuclear Assault for several U.S. shows. See the
Tour page for dates.
The LAST Far Cry date has been posted. After 10 years of straight gigging, the band is
taking a much needed break while
Karl goes on tour with Nuclear Assault in September and Van Helsing's Curse in October.
As of right now, there are no more Far Cry dates scheduled, but there might be dates coming in
October (if possible with Karl's schedule) or November or there abouts. |
July 21, 2005
Lots of news to report. Karl arrived home from the Nuclear Assault European tour last Wednesday.
The first show was in Belgium in front of 70,000 people. That's not bad considering the only rehearsal the
band had together was in the hotel room the night before the show, with Karl having a world class
case of food poisoning (he's fine now) and no air conditioner in the room during a 90 degree heat wave.
The shows went really well, and Karl would like to thank all the fans who showed their support. Pics
will be posted in the near future, so check back.
Karl has been selected as the new guitar player for
Van Helsing's Curse, which is
produced by Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) and Joe Franco. The tour starts
October 7th, so make sure to check back for tour dates as they become available. Make sure to
check out the Van Helsing's Curse web site for the sound and video samples, which will give you an
idea of what the show is all about. It's kind of like Trans-Siberian Orchestra's evil twin brother,
complete with narration by Dee Snider himself.
For those of you who have been e-mailing Karl asking about Ace Frehley, here's the latest. Karl
talked with Ace on the phone this evening, and Karl says Ace is still doing very well. Ace is
starting to get the itch to play again, as Karl and him are talking about getting together next
month to write new material, possibly for a movie soundtrack.
There is still the possibility of Joe Lynn Turner shows in the future, but nothing has been
confirmed yet. As always, when Karl knows, it'll be posted here. |
July 4, 2005
Far Cry dates for July have been posted. Check the Far Cry page for
details. There are also a few pics of Far Cry on the Photos page.
They're about 1/2 way down.
Karl is still in Europe on tour with Nuclear Assault. See the Photos page for shots
of the tour. |
June 23, 2005
Karl has safely arrived in Europe (Amsterdam specifically), and is gearing up for the
Nuclear Assault European tour. See the Tour page for
details.
There is a possibility of more Joe Lynn Turner gigs later on this year. Nothing is confirmed yet,
but as soon as we know, it'll be posted here.
Karl is in talks with Joe Franco, the co-producer/drummer for
Van Helsing's Curse, a musical/theatrical
production created by Dee Snider (Twisted Sister). Karl is being considered as the lead guitar player for
the show. As soon as anything is confirmed, we'll let you know.
Karl would like to give a big thank you to Winn Krozack (Artist Relations) of
PRS Guitars for all his help with the PRS Guitars
endorsement deal and for the great guitar. |
June 17, 2005
ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to circumstances beyond our control, The Far Cry show on June 18th at
The Clubhouse in Jackson, NJ has been canceled. Instead, Far Cry will be playing at Bello's in
Parlin, NJ. Make sure to come out and show your support, as that will be the last Far Cry gig until
late July (when Karl gets back from the European Nuclear Assault Tour).
Karl would like to sincerely thank all the fans and friends who came out to see the Joe Lynn Turner shows over
the last month. A great time was had by all, and the band greatly appreciates the fan's support.
They would also like to thank the staff and management at the venues for all their support.

he also ended up writing with
Jaime Kyle (who wrote "Stranded" on Heart's Brigade album, "Wild One" on Faith Hill's multi-platinum
Take Me As I Am album, and "Bed of Roses" on Faith Hill's mult-platinum It Matters to Me album),
and Steve Bliss.
He is planning on further writing sessions with Jaime Kyle, Gary Corbett and Steve Bliss in the

are available through Ticket Master.
Here's Chance's phone number: (845) 471-1966, and a link,
The Chance Complex. Make sure to
come to at least one of these shows, as the vocals of Joe Lynn with Karl, Bruce and Al backing
him up will make it a killer show. |
March 28, 2005
Some more information on the Joe Lynn Turner shows. Joining Joe Lynn and Karl will be Bruce
Terkildsen (Far Cry) on bass/vocals, Sandy Gennaro (Pat Travers, Ace Frehley Band) on drums, and Al Fritsch (Billy Joel Broadway show

few months; he'll be on guitar and backup vocals. So far, we can confirm
that they will be playing Double D's in Morristown, New Jersey
on Saturday May 14th. The other dates are still up in the air, but we will definitely keep you informed
as we get confirmed dates.
